Carnival

My daughter and I went to the Carnival at Roberts Elementary.

How about sons???

They have to go Japanese weekend school on every Saturday.

So "Want to join Carnival??" I asked them.

They thinking very hard.

But they want a perfect attendance prize.

My daughter wearing ORANGE carnival T-shirt.

Don't Siesta!!  Let's Fiesta!! on it.

Camel ride,Rodeo machine,Train,Bungee trampoline,

Rock wall,Putt putt golf,Carnival games,

Food&Drink!!!

Many kids threw Confetti eggs each other.

It looks very fun.

My daughter really like Beauty salon.

She got Tattoos on hand.

Plus got manicure her fingers.

Vivid purple and sparkling!!!

When she need wash her hands, carefully and delicately.

It looks so funny.

Almost Japanese school have school rules.

NO makeup,NO manicure,

and NO accessory.
But No problem in here!!!

ZOOBILEE

We went to the Houston ZOO on last Thursday.

This was annual member-only event.

We enjoyed DINOSAURS !!!

Before it opens to the general public.

BIG dinosaurs in there.

"They are pretty"said my daughter.

My kids joined some small games.

Hula Hoop,Horseshoes,and Sack Races.

They got some snacks.

My sons actually like Stamp Passport.

They run and got stamps all over the zoo.

Kids had fun.

But I was so tired.

Finally they completed passport stations.

They got dinosaur poster for Prize. 

Galveston

We went to the Galveston on Sunday.

It was nice sunny day.

There were good beach for kids.

They had a lot of fun!!!

Playing beach ball,dig and found clams,

and looking for pretty seashells.

My big point of trip ......

Something good to EAT!!!!

Heidi recommended the seafood restaurant.

Amazing!!!

 Not only delicious.

We enjoyed  ocean view.

We ate Raw oyster, Rock feller,Shrimp cocktail,

Lobster bisque,and Po-Boy.

Also Margarita was soooo good.

I want to go Landry's very soon.

Bar-B-Q

Last Saturday, I went to the restaurant with my family,
Kendo member,and guest from Japan.

There are many trophy heads inside.
My kids were very excited.
And small kids place outside.

BBQ was soooo good.
I especially like pork rib.
Also corn&sausage salad was yum!!

We ate them at outside table.
Nice breeze and music in there.

Weekend School

My sons go to Japanese weekend school on every Saturday.

In Japan, School begin from April to March.

My kids met the new teachers and classmates.

Parents have to take Lotto for class mother.

And my husband got winning ticket.

Now he is the CLASS MOTHER!!!

My 5th grader's teacher is SMILE student.

And her daughter is same class with my 4th grader.

4th grader's teacher used to be in elder son's.

I'm happy that they got wonderful teachers.

HAPPY NEW GRADE!!!

Happy Easter

We planed to join SMILE Easter on Saturday.

But my daughter had a fever from Good friday.

My daughter get well today, real easter day.

I think that Jesus watching over her.

We missed Easter egg hunt.

But celebrated at home.

I made dyed eggs with my kids.

Heidi recommended "PAAS"

It was nice kit box for Easter egg.

My kids decorated each own special one.
It was very fun.
They wanted more and more.
My eggs were All gone!!!

We spent a nice family time.

Anniversary

Yesterday was 11th wedding anniversary.
My husband gave me a special present.

Can you guess what??

It was beef tongue.
The big whole one.

In Japan,beef tongue called "GYU TAN"
GYU means beef.
For example,KOBE Beef =KOBE GYU.
TAN means tongue.

GYU TAN is very popular food in Japan.
Whole tongue cost 15 dollars in USA.
Just 10 sliced extra thin cost ....
OVER 15 dollars  in Japan.

My husband cleaned and cooked it.

He cut it extra thin and grilled.
Put salt&pepper and squeezed lemon juice.
It was soooooo yum!!!
I also enjoyed California sparkling wine.
